Intern Talk: Creating A Stand-Out Cover Letter [Podcast]
February 5th, 2012
Cover letters are one of the most important elements of the application process. A strong cover letter can place you ahead of the applicant pool, while a poor cover letter can take you out of the running.
This month, I sat down with Erin Pope to discuss how students can create stand-out cover letters. Pope is a media relations specialist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
What suggestions do you have for students writing cover letters? How do you use your cover letter to set yourself apart from the rest of the applicants?
This is a guest post by the Vice President of Internships/Job Services Joe Clarkson.
